Hello! It has been quite awhile since I've posted anything, but get ready for a series of updates. It has been quite a busy past few weeks but I'm going to be uploading posts over the next few days summarizing the past few weeks. I was in Atlanta Georgia for the first week of the trip to have training for Guatemala. The first week was filled with worship, personal devotion time, teaching sessions, and group discussions. I loved being with fellow believers who had the same passion for God and the nations. However, I was struggling emotionally going into this week. I was struggling with some fear and anxiety, but God met me in that place. One day when I was in worship crying, one of the leaders came over to me and she spoke 1 John 4:18 over me which says, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." Then, a few minutes later, the worship leader said the same verse. I thought, "Wow, God." It was exactly what I needed to hear and it was so cool just to see him work in my life. Throughout the week, God freed me from a lot of fear and anxiety and he helped my mind to be more at peace. Stay tuned to hear about the rest of training camp.
